The Technique

Most Barre workouts are rooted in the exercises and ideals originated by a famous German dancer Lotte Berk. The Barre Balanced technique follows this general concept of exercise that is based on Berk's experience with dancing and concentrates on targeting the major muscle groups of the body enhancing strength and flexibility training.

Working at the barre, you use your center or core and this provides an intense workout that promotes muscle growth, burns calories, and brings about results quickly so you can have the lean body of a dancer and the strength of an athlete.

The proper technique is essential to a safe and effective exercise program.  Our goal is to provide hands-on correction with body-alignment, form, and overall technique to advance you to the next level.
