Studio Policies

In order to ensure the best level of instruction for each client, we limit our classes to 17 participants and therefore encourage signing up in advance. To check if space is available before coming to the studio, go to our online class schedule or call the front desk at 484-841-6312. Walk-ins are welcome, but we cannot guarantee a spot at the barre.

If you choose to sign up for a class that is already full, you will have the opportunity to add your name to the waitlist. Waitlists can move quickly. Therefore, waitlisted clients often do get bumped into class.

Waitlisted clients: Clients must monitor their position in the class. Wait listed clients are to remove their name from the wait lists if they know they cannot attend class. It is possible that you may be moved into the class up to two hours before the start of class. This may occur during the night for morning classes. The 4 hour cancellation policy applies to all clients who are added into the class roster. Clients who have activated the text messaging feature within their profile will receive a text message that they have been added into the class. Please respond with either a Y or N. Other clients will receive an e-mail notification that they have been added into the class if a valid e-mail has been assigned in their profile. Please contact the studio if you have questions about the wait list policy to avoid cancellation or no show fees.

For all classes, reservations must be canceled 4 hours prior to the start of class. You may cancel a class online or via phone. If you need to cancel a class for the next day and it is past our normal business hours, we ask that you do so online. If you fail to cancel within the stated cancellation window or do not show up, we will deduct that class from your existing package or series. Clients with monthly-unlimited memberships will be charged a $15.00 fee. Please contact the studio if you have questions about the cancellation policy.

Barre Balanced reserves the right to cancel classes with less than 5 participants. Every effort is made to notify those registered of cancellations.

Barre Etiquette

Please arrive on time.

New Clients — you are requested to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start of your first class in order to fill out paperwork and ask any questions you may have.

No one is permitted into a class 8 minutes after class has begun.

Pregnant clients are advised to bring a physician's note with authorization to take part in this class.

The best attire for barre class is yoga pants that come to your knee or longer, a comfortable top that covers your mid-drift and bare feet or grippy socks.

Shoes must be removed before entering the studio.

Water is the only beverage permitted inside the studio.

We provide all of the equipment you need for a successful workout at the studio. Please leave your weights, balls and straps at home. You just need a yoga mat, water and a great attitude.

Cell phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in class and must be left outside the studio and/or turned off. If you are expecting an important call, the front desk will be happy to hold your cell phone and notify you if needed.

We are not responsible for clients' personal belongings. These can be stored in cubbies outside the studio.

In order to achieve the best class possible, please keep talking to a minimum while the teacher is instructing.

Please return all equipment back to its place at the end of class.
